August 10 – The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) hosted the University-Driven Research Programme (UDRP) Townhall Session at Mini Auditorium 1, TNCPI Office Building.

The event, which took place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, aimed to provide comprehensive insight into Universiti Putra Malaysia's (UPM) research trajectory in its efforts to strengthen the university's innovation and academic ecosystem.
The townhall session was attended by YBhg. Prof. Zamberi Sekawi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), who delivered a detailed explanation on UPM's research direction. The program continued with a demonstration of the Research Altmetrics & Impact for Scholarly Excellence (RAiSE) System, presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Amiruddin Abd Rahman, Deputy Director of the Research Data Planning and Management Section at the Research Management Centre (RMC).

It is hoped that the discussions and insights shared will inspire researchers to drive UPM’s academic excellence on a global scale.
