UPM SERDANG, August 14, 2026 – The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) extends its deepest appreciation to the 24 Responsibility Centres (PTJs) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) for their steadfast cooperation and keen interest during the Presentation Sessions for the Service Innovation Award and Innovation Idea Award (Idea InQ), held in conjunction with the UPM Quality and Service Innovation Day (HKIP) 2025-2026.

The presentation sessions, which concluded on August 6, saw active participation from diverse entities, including eight faculties, ten centres, one institute, three administrative divisions, the Teaching Hospital (HSAAS), and the Office of the Vice-Chancellor. This varied participation highlights the unified spirit of the UPM ecosystem in synergising ideas towards service delivery excellence.

"We are immensely proud of the initiatives and fresh ideas presented by every PTJ. This continuous support is vital in UPM's ongoing efforts to cultivate creative thinking and technological adaptation, in line with current demands," stated a spokesperson for the programme secretariat.

The participating PTJs engaged in healthy competition across three main categories: Service Innovation Award (Management Category), Service Innovation Award (Technical Category), and Innovation Idea Award (Idea InQ). The innovations focused heavily on practical solutions, service digitalisation, and the optimisation of university resources.

The official announcement of winners for all categories will take place during the grand celebration of the Quality and Service Innovation Day (HKIP) 2025-2026, scheduled for November 17, 2026.
