Section of Legal

The section's responsibilities and functions:

 1. Provide legal views / advice in accordance to with the provinsions of the UPM Constitution, Rules, Statuesand Regulations regarding research and intellectual property for entities under the TNCPI office. 

2. Provide legal opinion/advice regarding provinsions in the MoA document under the TNCPI Office. 

3. Draft and review MoA that UPM will enter into with third parties, particularly in relation to research and intellectual property under TNCPI office. 

4.Assist in making studies and reviews on any major UPM legislation including the Constituition, Rules, Statues, and Regulations in UPM related to research and intellectual property under the TNCPI Office.

4. Prepare documents for the purpose of view verification by the Legal Advisor's Office (PPUU) before the MoA is brought for approval by the relevant Committees including JPU, JKTK and LPU.
