University Laboratory Management Division

The University Laboratory Management Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia is located at Level 1, Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), and officially commenced operations on 1 February 2024. BPMU is a new entity under the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) alongside the Research Management Centre (RMC), Putra Science Park (PSP), and UPM Press. BPMU is led by a Head of Division who is responsible for overseeing 7 main functions, which are the Management of Training and Competency for the Science Service Scheme (C), Laboratory Quality Management, Management of Research University Funds (RU), Management of the Central Equipment Management System (CEMS) and Revenue Generation, Management of RMK and University Funds, Management of the Procurement of Chemicals, Consumables, and Gases, and Management of Human Resources for Scheme C.
