Awards Application

We are pleased to inform you that the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) invites researchers of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to submit application nominations for the Vice-Chancellor’s Fellowship Award (Research and Innovation Category) 2025, in conjunction with the Putra Gemilang Ceremony (MGP) 2026. Researchers are advised to review and identify the most appropriate award category prior to submitting their application nomination. Nominations are open for the following categories:

A. Research Awards

*Applicants are required to complete the online application form and ensure that all relevant information has been updated in the HiStaf system. Each application must be endorsed by the Head of PTJ through the respective PTJ. Applications without endorsement will be rejected.

B. Journal Article Award

Journal Article Award (Science and Technology / Social Sciences)

C. Innovation Award

*Evaluation is based on products that have been commercialised and have generated sales revenue. For this category, nominations will be submitted by Putra Science Park.

Innovation and Product Commercialisation Award (Nomination to be made by Putra Science Park)

D. Publication Award

*Evaluation is based on original scholarly books and original popular academic books that contribute to knowledge development or have the potential to influence and transform societal thinking. For this category, nominations will be submitted by the UPM Press.
