7 June 2024, Serdang - The UPM Food Security Blueprint was launched by The Honorable Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad Sabu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, during the Food Security Carnival held at the Grand Hall, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Arts and Cultural Center (PKKSSAAS), UPM. The event was also attended by The Honorable Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, Minister of Higher Education.

 

The launched UPM Food Security Blueprint aims to serve as a reference not only for academic purposes but also for various levels to help address food security issues.

 

Various interesting activities and exhibitions were held, including the Agriculture Forum for the People (PUTRA): UPM Inclusivity Cultivating Agriculture and Food Security, Urban Agriculture Sharing and Demonstration Sessions, Agriculture and Food Security Exhibitions, and Agricultural and Food Security Product Sales.
