UPM SERDANG, May 20, 2026 – The high commitment and dedication of the staff at the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) received the university’s highest recognition yesterday, as two of its staff members were awarded the Outstanding Service Award (APC) for the 2025 service year.

The proud recipients are Encik Mohd Khairi bin Hasan and Encik Tuan Kamaruhisham bin Tuan Wel. The awards were presented during the prestigious Majlis Gemilang Putra (MGP) 2026, held yesterday, May 19, 2026, at the Main Hall of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre (PKKSSAAS), UPM.

This annual event is organised to honour the exceptional work quality, integrity, and outstanding contributions of officers in driving UPM's vision as an internationally reputable institution of higher learning.
