TNCPI OFFICE SUPPORTS BULAN SINERGI PUTRA, PARTICIPATES IN INTEGRATED FARM PROGRAM IN PUCHONG

PUCHONG, June 15, 2026 – The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) (TNCPI) at UPM further strengthened the spirit of university collaboration by sending five (5) representatives to participate in the "Visit & Have Fun @ Ladang Bersepadu Puchong" programme today.

The lively event was organised by the Putra Agriculture Centre, UPM, in conjunction with the Bulan Sinergi Putra celebration. The programme aims to provide hands-on exposure to agricultural activities and food security for the campus community.

Throughout the programme, participants engaged in various interactive activities. Among the main highlights was a tour of the crop sites featuring a 'Pick on Your Own' concept, allowing participants to harvest fresh produce directly. Additionally, the delegation visited the aquaculture site to observe systematic aquatic farming methods.

The event also featured a local wisdom demonstration, showcasing traditional agricultural knowledge, and a thrilling 'UPM Masterchef' cooking challenge, which tested the participants' creativity and teamwork in preparing dishes using freshly harvested farm ingredients.

The active participation of the TNCPI Office reflects the research management agency's commitment to supporting agricultural sustainability initiatives led by the Putra Agriculture Centre, UPM, while fostering closer synergistic ties among responsibility centres (PTJs) for the university's advancement.
