UPM SERDANG, May 22, 2026 - The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) [TNCPI], Universiti Putra Malaysia, successfully conducted the Internal Audit Session for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) from 20 to 22 May 2026.

The internal audit involved several entities under TNCPI, namely the TNCPI Administrative Office, University Laboratory Management Division, Research Management Centre, and Putra Science Park.

The audit session was led by Puan Arba’ah Md Salleh, Director of the Occupational Safety and Health Management Office, Universiti Putra Malaysia, together with the appointed internal audit team.

The audit was carried out to assess the level of compliance and effectiveness of the quality management system implementation based on the requirements of the MS ISO 9001:2015 standard. The audit also served as an important platform to identify areas for continuous improvement in strengthening governance, service delivery systems, and quality work culture among the involved entities.

The strong commitment demonstrated by all parties throughout the audit reflects Universiti Putra Malaysia’s continuous efforts in reinforcing quality management practices in line with the university’s aspiration towards excellence.
