
Janda Baik, Bentong – The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organised the Program to Strengthen Collaboration and Drive Excellence, held over two days from 31 January to 1 February 2026 at Kebun Rimba, Janda Baik, Bentong, Pahang.
The programme aimed to strengthen team collaboration, align strategic direction, and enhance governance effectiveness and support for the university’s research and innovation ecosystem. It involved the participation of staff from various Responsibility Centres (PTJ) under the supervision of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation).
Throughout the programme, participants took part in strategic discussion sessions, team-building activities, and knowledge-sharing initiatives focused on strengthening a collaborative and high-performance work culture. This team-based approach aligns with UPM’s aspiration to cultivate a sustainable and dynamic working environment.
The organisation of the programme reflects the continued commitment of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) to ensuring organisational readiness and excellence in the delivery of research support services.
It is hoped that the programme will serve as a catalyst for stronger collaboration and sustained excellence in research and innovation at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
