February 16, 2024, Serdang - The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation) of Universiti Putra Malaysia, together with the TNCPI Sports and Recreation Club, organized an Inaugural Address by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation) at the Rashdan Baba Auditorium, TNCPI Office Building. The event was held to convey the vision, mission, and direction of the TNCPI Office and Universiti Putra Malaysia for the year 2024, so that members of the TNCPI Office can work more proactively and aggressively in carrying out their duties.

 

The event also expressed appreciation for the services and contributions of Prof. Goh Yong Meng, former Deputy Director of the Research Grant Division, Research Management Centre, who has been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine effective February 1, 2024, and Assoc. Prof. Dr.Fazirulhisyam bin Hashim, former Deputy Director of the Knowledge Management Division, Research Management Centre, who has been appointed as the Deputy Dean of Research & Innovation and Networks & Industries, Faculty of Engineering effective February 15, 2024.

 

The Club also took the opportunity through this event to celebrate members who have recently gotten married and to welcome the birth of their first child. Also present at the event were Prof. Dr. Mohd Adzir Mahdi, Director of the Research Management Centre (RMC), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Nurhayati Wan Ab Rahman, Deputy Director of the Innovation Promotion & Commercialization Section, Putra Science Park (PSP), Mr. Shahriman bin Hashim, Head of Administration of the TNCPI Office, and Mr. Md. Nizam Mahat @ Ibrahim, Head of the University Laboratory Management Division (BPMU).
