May 15, 2024, Serdang – Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UPM received a delegation of 30 staff members from the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UiTM Shah Alam. The Benchmarking Visit was conducted in the Seminar Room, Ground Floor, Putra Science Park Building.

The visit aimed to explain the functions and roles of Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UPM and its entities, as well as to exchange ideas and perspectives between both parties. The session was chaired by YBrs. Mr. Shahriman Hashim, Chief Administration Officer of Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UPM, and attended by the delegation from Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UiTM Shah Alam, led by the esteemed Ts. Mohd Rafizi Rahmad, Chief Deputy Registrar of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UiTM Shah Alam.

At the end of the visit, YBrs. Associate Professor Dr. Wan Nurhayati Wan Ab. Rahman, Deputy Director (Technology Transfer and Commercialization), Putra Science Park, also welcomed the delegation by conducting a tour of the Research and Innovation Gallery, Putra Science Park.
